Wednesday
First time I’ve used this.
I’ve been having a problem for the past week, the controllers would sometimes get knocked out either upon turning on my quest 2 or after playing a game and it’s been getting worst. I’ve been dealing with it by manually turning off the headset with the shut off button since I can’t restart it when the controllers won’t interact.
No it is not dead- It can interact with the horizon feed and friends list. But all apps don’t work as the controllers can’t interact with them at all, this includes boundary options and the shutdown/restart page.

Hi, we understand that you're not having the best experience trying to interact with your Quest 2 controllers. We would like to suggest a few steps you can take to resolve your issue :
- Ensure that your area is well lit, with enough light to clearly see, but not direct sunlight.
- Ensure that your area is free of small lights such as Christmas lights or LED strips.
- Ensure that your area is free of any reflective surfaces such as mirrors, glass or polished marble.
- Ensure that the tracking cameras on your headset are clean following our recommended maintenance and care guidelines.
- Ensure that your environment is free of any obstructions between the tracking cameras and the controllers.
- If your controllers have removable batteries, try removing the batteries from your controllers for at least 30 seconds before reinstalling.
- Power off and restart your headset.
- Unpair and re-pair your controllers to the headset.
- As a last resort, a factory reset may help to resolve your tracking issues.
However, if the above doesn't help, we would suggest you to PM by following the below steps in order to allow us to look into this in detail as it may require some personal information:
