AI was a key feature of a number of presentations at the very recent IFOMPT 2024 conference in Basel, Switzerland.AI has been cited as offering good outcomes for MSK diagnosis, self-management, signposting and even exercise prescription and the added value here is that it does not require a workforce. This technology means the care given is the most contemporary available, and offers up to date, evidence- based practice. In this week’s Clinical Insight, we hear some reflections from one of the team on the value of AI in MSK healthcare and what the future might look like. #ClinicalInsight #Physiotherapy #AI #MSK #Healthcare #Exercise #IFOMPT

In this week's Clinical Insight, we explore what has been called the greatest skills that clinicians have: communication. It is known that if clinicians communicate well they are more accurate, they drive greater satisfaction, patients are more likely to follow advice, and patients’ anxiety and stresses are lessened. So, in this week’s Clinical Insight we consider some of the findings from studies that identified behaviours and actions in clinicians that do the opposite, plus what we might do to change.#ClinicalInsight #Communication #Clinic #Clinician #MDT #Multidisciplinary
